Sidonie, how would you describe your Mum’s effortless cool style?
Minimalist, upscale, boho, natural colours like greens and browns. No bright colours ever. Lots of Mahsa!
Shannon on Sidonie?
Sidonie’s at the age where her style is rapidly evolving. She doesn’t stick to one look and changes her style everyday — wherever the mood takes her!

What would you take from each other's wardrobes?
Sidonie: I have my eye on mum’s Vivienne Westwood buckle boots, Mahsa Puddle skirt and a pair of black heels.
Shannon: I would happily wear the vintage dress Sidonie found for her ball! She also has a very cuddly grey v-neck.
On vintage — fave thrift and why you like vintage:
Sidonie: Fave thrift is the Central Flea Market because it has such a big range of clothing and there’s something for everyone! Vintage is great because you can give awesome clothing a second chance and in general, vintage clothes are just cooler.
Shannon: I’ve always been drawn to how clothes make you feel and vintage can be a way to push the boundaries a little and be unique. I found an incredible satin jumpsuit at Steinberg & Tolkien in London, an iconic vintage fashion emporium on the King’s Road that is sadly now closed but I would go back there in a heartbeat.

A shared memory:
Sidonie: Definitely ball dress shopping fashion-wise, I feel like that was such a mother-daughter moment that I’ve always wanted to do. It made me feel very grown up.
Shannon: It was so fun with lots of laughs. Sidonie went on a real style journey, trying a mix of modern and vintage and as her mama it was magic to see how the different frocks made her feel.
Favorite thing to do together?
Sidonie: Go and get coffee and gossip and yap!
Shannon: Absolutely — Sidonie’s great company and can easily talk me into buying her an iced vanilla latte!
